To be less immature at 17 you need to start acting like the legal adult you will become at age 18. Therefore you need to start taking responsibility for yourself - getting yourself to school/college/work on time, doing your own chores, etc. Also you should be polite to people and generally stop acting like a stroppy 14 year old.
I am not saying you do act like that, i am just suggesting ways in which a 17 yr old could be less immature!
