Emo people?

I am sick and tired of people thinking that emo people (srry for labelling) are idk stupid and low lives. I mean we are the same as anyone accept some of us just hate our lives. There is always at least one thing that we all hate. And sometimes it our life. And if anyone has a yahoo messenger and wants to talk bout it and is online give it to me, And if u don't we can just talk now because i just want a friend too.

Emo people... I will never ever discriminate them.... At some point, all of us are emo... but the only difference is that some of us show it, others don't... Emo people prefer to display their hatred for life, for the world... There's nothing wrong with that... After all, it is the freedom of speech... therefore, they are not stupid and they are not low lives... so I agree with you...it is just a subculture... Same as goth, same as punks... the difference is the way they express themselves... personally, I think those who look down on those people are stupid and low lives...

Are you speaking for all Emo kids, becuase I know a few Emo kids and I don't think they hate their lives.
I don't know too much about the culture but, I don't think it's basied around depression. That is what it sounds like you are trying to convey. I'll tell you this. Find something that makes you happy, no matter what it is and go for it!! Just really put your time and energy in that and you will find yourself being more greatfull of what you have, who you are and what you have to offer others.
