Its their choice what they want to.

I personally don't agree with changing my name at all. I have been married twice and have never changed my name. Marriage is not ownership and I do not have to give up something to gain it.

I believe it would be up to the couple. I mean some straight couples the women keep there last names so if a gay couple would marry they could keep there names or change it to whatever they want between the two. I mean I would take whatever sounded best with my first name. LOL

some couples prefer to hyphenate their names at the same time, in basic terms like some women persons do. different couples pick on a sparkling, at an analogous time agreed upon, surname that the two legally replace their call to.

The same as with heterosexual couples; they would decide what works best for them. When my sister married her husband, she took his last name. When a friend of mine married his wife, he took hers--she had a career in which it was important she retained her last name, and they wanted to have the same one. Gender has nothing to do with it, it's just what works for the couple.

That depends on the couple.
I have seen cases in which both dropped their middle names and took their partners last name as their middle name.
Honestly, that is the least of concerns.

Whatever they want: for instance, my gf will take my name because she loves the fact that my last name is painfully Irish. It's all about what they decide between the two of them: they can hyphenate, keep their names, or one can take the other's name.

Its totally up to the couple. I'm a bloke really but on different username and well I cahnged my last name to her family name cause its a lot nicer and I prefer it and she gets to keep her name. but you can do what you want with your last name its just a formality.
