Boston is a great city especially for college age and young professionals. You will enjoy it, I know I did.

It's impossible to say if Boston or NYC are "better" than the other. They are VERY different, and have very different feels. I think Boston is fabulous, and is the most education based city, because of the number of colleges/universities directly downtown in the city. However, if you're thinking about both, visit both and tour some schools and then decide. I think you'll love both, but it depends where you'd feel more comfortable living. Boston is slightly cheaper, but also smaller.

Boston is the best college town in the entire world! There are 28 institutions of higher learning in the Boston Metro area. The city is full of students and things that students are interested in doing.

Boston is cleaner and safer than New York City...and easier to get around. You will enjoy your experience!

You can't apply for fall 2009 admission until fall 2008 but it would be a good idea to start looking at and visiting colleges now.
