i've just had a lovely weekend, went bowling had beer and the missus is snoring her head off after a beautiful chicken dinner and some good loving from me. i've got a new scar on my hand, one more for the album. this may sound weird but the scar paid for a whole weekend of non worry (i can make 400 per week but my body pays for it) so the question is do rich people enjoy what they have and appreciate it or! do workers live it large and enjoy life more? i can't imagine what its like to be so rich where one doesnt have to work for a living, life must be pretty boring.

I work for a living, and it puts me in a less than prideful state when I don't. Through the toils of labor, I've acquired many scars, which will last as long as the structures I had a hand in building. I think that the wealthy work hard in different ways, gathering scars that are only visible through other means. Imagine making enough money to take a year off. Would you be bored?

I think it's more about the attitude, really.
Some people will constantly diss the things they've got and dismiss them, no matter how much they've really got. Someone could be having exactly the day you had, and thinking it's misery, because surely someone *else* is having a better time.

I think you can have pride in what you do, and get satisfaction out of life no matter how much money you've got. That said, though creature comforts can be enjoyable, I think that it's really about enjoying the everyday things: enjoying family, decent food, friends, music and so on...

So two thumbs up for the attitude.

So what is it you do to your body to make money?? I'm intrigued.

I enjoy working for a living - but would love to make some extra cash on the side - haven't found the right trick yet though.

I've had to work for everything and you're right we appreciate it much, much mor - we also tend to take care of our lot and treasure what we have - because we know how hard it was to buy it!

Dirt poor and proud......BUT steadily working to become MEDIUM RICH and proud. We HAVE to have goals to work for or else we become unhappy.

Look at the movie stars and sports players. They have PLENTY of money but what do they do? Get into trouble, start doing drugs.....and actually have a bad life.

Good luck. Pops

Dirt poor and proud... for we truly know what it is like to have fun. We know, without a doubt, who our friends are, why our spouse is with us... don't get me wrong, I would love to win the lottery.. but ya know what I would do with that??? I would make sure my house was paid off, then share the rest with my dirt poor family and friends.. even if it only bought them a 12 pack.. hahaha.. they could have one on me. Dirt poor and proud folks are the ones who know the true meaning of fun and happy.. no pretenses ..

We have a very comfortable life and we're never bored. We travel a lot....we enjoy having family and close friends over for small get-togethers. We enjoy doing things with our daughter. We volunteer our time to a local charity.

No matter how much money you have...life is what you make it and it sounds like you enjoy yours.

Good question. !! I appreciate the validity of your question.
wonder if someone would be able to answer such a question.

unfortunately.. your audience should be in both levels.. rich and poor and should have enjoyed at both levels.. but generally speaking.. there is a poetic version in our language system which is considered as truth and as epic creation.

according to it.. this world belongs to those with wealth.. while the other world belongs.. who are blessed.
