easily, it may be somebody who demanded absolute evidence of each little thing who may be the irrational one (a minimum of interior the sense of 'no longer sensible'). There are just some issues in existence which would be proved surely, and society might fal aside if no-one replaced into ever arranged to have faith something interior the absence of fact. evaluate this user-friendly occasion. think of that a buddy sends you a message suggesting which you will desire to fulfill him at a undeniable time and place. Now he can't supply evidence that he would be there while he says he will, because of the fact destiny activities are inherently unknowable. A rational guy or woman might probable ensue besides, trusting that the buddy will do as he says. In doing so he will asess the available evidence (is the stated place conceivable, has the buddy been stable interior the previous, etc) and make a determination in accordance with danger. faith is a cruicial part of existence. once you do an afternoon's artwork, you have faith which you would be paid for it. while youcontinual a vehicle, you have faith that the different drivers will obey the site visitors rules and not reason an twist of destiny. once you purchase a meal, you have faith that it's going to be suitable for eating. you could no longer have improve evidence of any of those issues, so which you will desire to fall returned on assessing what's maximum in all danger. Somone who demanded evidence regardless will possibly in no way possibility doing something in any respect, and can be considered irrationally paranoid via any disinterested observer. EDIT: i've got only study by particularly some the different solutions. It in no way ceases to amaze me what number idiots there are (usually, yet no longer solely atheists) who can't comprehend that evidence and evidence at the instant are not the comparable factor.

Faith is a multi- faceted word. We live in a multi-faceted world. Faith in God is a pillar in the lives of some, while others have no faith in anything, not even themselves. Logic is reasoning..If you have no logic..you can't expect to be viewed as a reasonable person. Is faith rational? Yes. Is a lack of faith irrational? Absolutely. I have faith that I won't be online for more than another 10 minutes before I go enjoy the beauty of the day. Good question..Have a great day, and be faithful.

I believe faith is totally rational...just take the fact that religeon has been with man since his beginning. Since the earliest records in history, man has had some sort of reliegeon...The necessity to believe or disbelieve in a god(s) is in mankind...religeon or lack of is woven within man....even atheism tho rejecting God/disbelieveing the existance of....whatever you will, is still centered around the opinon taht he doesn't exist or isn't in control...whatever it may be. It is still indirectly pointing at a God(s). Still citing, tho rejecting

I think it can also be logical....Not many faiths last long if they aren't logical. Look at christianity....they sprang as a continuation from the jews after thier denial of the messiah....the bible is the most long standing, and historically accurate document in existance...it has never once been proven wrong...not everything has been proven right but nonetheless, no fault has been found in it. Pretty startling if you think about it...what if they are right? Even tho a lot of them are hypocrites, sometimes I still wonder

It is rational for those who have it, irrational for those who don't.

Sorry, boo-boo, but that's just the way it is. If you have faith, it is very rational. If you don't, then faith is very irrational.

And yes, we of faith can and are very logical thinkers; I am anyway.

my opinion is that it is irrational... but once the believer makes that decision to have faith, his intentions may be rational. however there are some that just have irrational faith, no logic to it, save on the subconscience level that they need something to believe in

Rational... Imagine living your life with no faith..no faith would kill all hopes and dreams.. then why would we be living? Might as well not.
