ok i really want a myspace and my dad is questioning it, what can i tell him to convence him to let me have a myspace?

Listen - MySpace has received a lot of bad press because of the predators that are there. Your dad has the right to question your motives for wanting a page. Forget about telling him how myspace is really good. It's not, and he knows it.
What MAY convince him otherwise is the responsibility that YOU take in life, and how he views your ACTIONS.
If you are 13 and never done things like this before, then don't expect too much allowance here. Forget your own need for privacy and invite your dad to participate with you. Besides, there is NO privacy on the net. Once he sees how responsible you actually are, he may give some more freedom to you beyond the net.

Tell him that you can make it to privite and that will only allow your friends to look at that. My mom wasn't ok with it but i told her it was on privite and she was ok with it. Also don't put any personal info on it even though it is on privite. Just be careful and everything will be ok. Good Luck

just tell him that its now u have grown up and want something for yourself and the easiest is myspace.
