it will only be a matter of time, but we will eventually earn equal rights! if 2 consenting, unrelated adults want to marry, they should have that right! is shouldn't matter their gender, race, religion or culture. my partner and I are registered domestic partners, and we've had a commitment ceremony....but we want the real thing! along with the legal benefits of marriage! I mean, seriously, it can't harm anyone! and we can't do any worse than straight people do!
I challenge anyone to come up with a legitimate reason..WITHOUT stating any religious reason or the typical "because your sick pervs" or similar garbage!
there have been plenty of other discriminatory laws that have been over-turned in this country...because they were wrong!...this one will be over-turned as well!

I beleive they should have the chance to be miserable like everyone else who is married. People are born gay, so it can't be that much of an abomination. What's the harm it can do?

Of course they have the right to get married and it's only a matter of time before it's fully and legally accepted.

Actually, I do not support the state marrying gay people. To be more specific, I do not support the state marrying straight people either.
Marriage is an act to be practiced by clergy of all sorts of faiths. Usually under the eyes of God, or whichever way you want to put it.
The state has no authority to act under God, or even pretend to do it. I do support the state to recognize civil unions between two people.
All gay people need to do is find a church that is willing to perform the act of marriage under the eyes of God. Then the state can recognize their union.

I think gays should be allowed to get married: marriage is a human right, not a heterosexual privilege

i agree to. i am a Christian, but the bible says nothing to the fact that homosexuality/bisexuality is an unforgivable sin. the word abomination means 'grotesque'. besides, the bible's not only been misinterpreted many times, it's also been translated many times. so, who knows what the bible originally said. does this make sence.

Leviticus 20:13:
If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
But also, It isn't our place to Judge the bible says that too
Luke 6:37
Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:
It's one of them things you know? It's against God's Law, but It's God's place to judge that not us. I have a Lesbian Sister & A Gay Cousin so I am not being a Gay Basher.
