Yes. Modern feminism is no longer about equal rights. Feminists now are fighting against other women who want to choose to be homemakers.

Yeah i kinda think so. Originally, i think that it was a great idea, but remember what equality is. In many ways, i think that men may instictively put women down, but in many ways we also honor them...(we're supposed to hold doors, let them go first...). SO...don't forget that equality has its down sides too. Some people use the example that men control the government. But you can't possibly convince anyone that this is because men never vote for women. Women can still vote for women if the want. But they don't. They vote for men. If women voted for women, and men voted for men, the election races would be pretty close.

Feminism is a strange phenomenon. Often the same ladies who demand equality in all things still expect a man who is now on equal salary due to feminist lobbying still to have to pay for dinner. They expect doors to be opened, to be admitted first, chairs to be positioned, bags to be carrried and due deference to be shown.

It seems like they don't want to be equal, they want to be superior.

We now live in times when equal education is available to all and most work can be done equally by either gender but if a man fails to get a job or get promoted he has to accept he was not good enough. If it happens to a woman she makes the feminism excuse and even makes it into a threat sometimes by charging discrimination.

Women expect all the consideration of being women but expect employers running commercial businesses to guarantee them a reserved job for a year when they have a baby. What sense is there in that. Parents have to decide if they want kids and pay for them just like we all have to pay for all our wants in life. If they continue to force western employers to abide by such expensive and unworkable labour laws the only thing that will happen is that jobs such as call centre work will continue to be exported to places like India which is much cheaper for employers and we will all be living in a socially correct, equal and jobless society.

I am not sure about the modern feminism, but everyone should speak out these days.
