It all depends on the medium or psychic really. I've had readings as well as participated in courses to develop my own abilities.

If you are unsure about it all, it may be best to pop along to your local spiritualist centre when they have their next service. Basically, the service is in two parts. The first will have a little bit of hymn singing (to raise vibrations) as well as a reading (could be a poem or something from the bible, depending on how religious the centre is). The medium will also give a little talk. The latter half is known as the 'evidential' part, where the medium will take pick random people to give readings to (and to be fair, this is the reason people attend lol). You can also find a good local medium through the centre as well.

Your reading will be a little like the reading given at the church, though in greater depth. It is not set in stone and is meant as guidance only. If it is a medium, they will provide evidence of friends and family in spirit as well as events personal to you. There are laws which prohibit them from telling you that you are going to die in x amount of time or bad things like that, so don't worry about that. Most of the reading will be about present things and 'present future' if that makes sense. If you do get something with a longterm future included, take it with a pinch of salt - it is based on your path right now and the choices we make throughout life change it. That's my own personal belief.

My advice throughout the reading is to answer only yes and no to the questions. Do not volunteer information (though it's very easy to do so when they get something right lol) - the medium (if they are genuine) doesn't want to hear it either. If they give you a piece of information which is not right or you are not sure about, tell them. Don't make it 'fit' either. It might also be worth taping the session so you can listen to it again as you always forget something you've been told lol.

Also, in reply to other folk who say they mediums shouldn't charge, why not? They are providing a service and giving up their free time for a stranger. It's like paying for massages and other complimentary therapies, the plumber etc etc. Find out how much they charge beforehand though. If it's extortionate, it may be best to walk away.

Above all, listen to your gut instinct. If it doesn't feel right, walk away. A genuine medium will understand.

I hope your reading goes well on Thursday and you get the answers/guidance you're looking for.

The unfortunate fact of life is there are charlatans out there that prey on the Weak ,Naive,Sick,Lonely,Aged,Demented,
You may as well save your money and try reading tea leaves instead ,You will get the same answer.
At the same time i am also convinced that there is more between heaven and earth than we understand.
If you do visit a psychic ,dont let out any information about yourself. You will then be able to judge a little better.

As a possessor of some psychic ability myself, I can clearly forsee that on Thursday you will be parting with a sum of money in return for some non-specific nonsense open to interpretation such that you may think you have been told something that was not completely obvious...

Why don't you give that money to a favourite charity instead? It's possible it would be wasted there, too, but much less likely!

Don't waste your money. If anyone could actually see the future, don't you think they would be hitting the lottery jackpot every week? So-called "psychics just play off what info you give them. If you want to test this, go to that psychic and other than saying "Hello" don't not talk during the whole reading. If they ask you questions, just say "well your the psychic..you tell me" I guarantee they will stammer and stutter trying to get any info off you so they can tell you what you want to hear.

If they are a true psychic, they should tell you the answers, and not gain the questions from you.
I haven't personally seen one,but i have had messages come through them for me.,and yes they've been very accurate..

I have mixed views on this one

A psychic will pick up on your energy levels and will know you want to see them for a reason, but they may not know the reason.

I have been on many occasions and some psychics have been rubbish and told me absolutely nothing specific just a whole heap of vague that could relate to any1.

One specific psychic was spot on and that was unreal..

If you decide to go watch out for the signs like asking you various questions... etc... a sure sign of a croc...

Take care
Love and light

you'll find alot of them out there preaching to be good and this and that. There are ones out there though that really can do it. I have went for a palm reading and alot was true, he knew stuff I didn't tell him. He has told me stuff that has come true. Though bear in mind even if told the future or what may happen, the nature of being human makes it subject to change if it's far enough in the future and we don't do things as originally foreseen. if you ever come to the bloomsburg, danville, berwik area ask for papi.

Here's a fun thing to do to mess with so called "psychics". DON'T TELL THEM ANYTHING. I mean, they are "psychics", right??? You shouldn't have to tell them anything cause they should be able to see it all. Most psychics throw out something random and let YOU fill in the blanks and say "OH YEAH!!!! My aunt's grandpa has a "T" in his name". And then, they follow YOUR lead to give you more info.

Just sit there and be quiet and answer only yes or no. Then, you will see how useful the psychic is. HAHAHA

I had a reading years ago from a very good medium - and she only charged £3.00. The trick is to not say anything - do not feed them with information. If they ask too many questions they are cold reading. A good medium will let you just sit while they tell you what they are getting. Good luck and hope its a good redaing for you xx
