She must be reducing the teeth. My oldest might have teething side outcomes, at the same time with temperature or fussiness weeks until eventually now the the teeth ever decrease. Tylenol will carry it down. If the fever is low grade do no longer panic. Her physique is gaining awareness of to combat it and she or he remains bobbing up her immune gadget. conserving in touch along with her wellness care professional is what i might do. now and back, a situation would possibly no longer upward thrust up for some days. remember, she would be quite heat while asleep, now and back that could effect her physique temperature. she will have a temperature with a chilly, yet that would not advise antibotics are mandatory. Our cue for my 5 month previous is that if he's up each and every hour in the process the night, then there is definetly something incorrect. He has never had a fever and has been on antibotics three times. 102 isn't risky, so basically shop observing it. shop the fluids going even water is wonderful. If it gets above 104 then difficulty. additionally, i did no longer understand in the experience that your knew this, yet while a rectal temperature is taken, subtract a level and that i've got been advised via my pediatriction that rectal is the main precise so as this is the only temp I take. Congestion may additionally happen with teething. examine out her decrease front gums and spot in the event that they look swollen.

We went through the same thing. We actually took our little one to the ER because he was only 7 weeks old with a temp. of 100.6 They checked his blood, his urine for infection, and he was fine but we did have to give him infants Tylenol to control the fever. The fever lasted several days. I was so worried, I hardly slept but I did feel much better once he was seen by a doctor because we knew exactly what was wrong with him. It was just a virus going around.
The Tylenol will help control the fever but if it lasts more than a day, you better take him in. Especially if he shows other symptoms such as a rash, not eating normally, vomiting...
I hope this helps and I hope your little one gets better!!

With children under the age of two it is more imporant to watch how they act than their temp. If they seem ok they are probably ok, if they are lethargic, not eating, not normal or vomitting (a lot) go to the doc/ER.
If you are concerned call your doctor for advice, or being as this is Sunday... hmmm.... Well here we have a number you can call to speak to a nurse, do you have something like that?
But honestly follow your gut if it says go get help, go! If you think he is fine is is probably fine, just keep an eye on him.
(Oh and a tip from another mom that helped me, if his softspot is concave he is starting to be dehydrated if it is flat or slightly sticking out he is fine. )
Oh and if you are breastfeeding this is very important there is NO NEED to give any other fluids. Pedialyte and other oral rehydration solutions are NOT good or needed for a breastfed baby. They are useful for formula fed babies because of the composition of formula.

Strip him down to his vest, do not keep cuddling him, and let him lie in a cool room- do you have a fan that you could put on to keep the air circulating?
Please do not put him in a cool bath, it seems like a good idea, but it can cause the baby to cool down too quickly, making their wonky thermostat heat them up again too fast, then your in a worse position than when you started.
Do have any babies ibuprofen that you can give him?
Keep up the Tylenol doses (sticking to the dosage instructions of course)

It may help to give him a lukewarm spongebath. If the tylenol and bath doesn't break the fever I would be taking the child to a clinic. It doesn't take longfor a child that age to become dehydrated.

Give him motrin every four hours then give him tylenol every four hours. Switch them every four hours. If that doesn't work take him to the Emergency Room. They are going to tell you to do the same thing. They might give some antibotoics.
