They're two completely different countries. Why anyone would get them mixed up is beyond me. The only similarities are the similar names and the border they share.

Median age is approximately 26. those all of us is particularly westernized even with the religious instructions tries to impose a hatred of the west. 2- Iran is particularly a lot a homogeneous u . s . a . of Shia. Iraq replaced right into a conglomeration of three distinctive ethno and non secular communities. 3- the vast majority of Iran's protection tension might is centred interior the ingenious preserve 4- thier nuclear application is underground, while in comparison with Iraq's that replaced into above floor and much less stressful to attack 5- the best minister there, Mr i'm-inna-Jihad, has been a lot greater vocal approximately destroying the west in maximum cases and the U. I know Iran has battled for years with an oppressive political regime and a lot of prsian people that left Iran when the good regime were in power are now unable to return to their country. Many people DO understand the differences, (or at least, that these differences exist) but most people know very little about the history of the place they come from, and even less about the life and culture of anywhere else!
I think a lot of people are having the same problem telling the difference between Kazakhstan and the place where Borat comes from.
And in Agatha Christie's books, people always thought that Hercule Poirot (the Belgian detective) was French...

Iranians come from Iran,
Iraqis come from Iraq.
from what I have seen, the men from both countries love a moustache, and a cigarette.
Of course cultures and languages are different, but you get that within the boundaries of the same country.

There are a lot of differences. Both had psycho leaders at one time that persecuted their people and forced them to do whatever they wanted. I don't mind either country's people, as long as they're not the next suicide bomber; it's the governments over there I don't like. Heck, I don't agree with our American government. But, languages and customs are different. Iran had a stronger empire at one time than Iraq did, ad they have different customs.

Iranians are Persians, not Arabs. Iranians are better educated. Iranians are better business(men) and Iranian women are absolutely gorgeous.
