the car overloads on gas and blows out the exhaust very loudly...what could be causing this?? someone told me tpi manifold could be big problem any suggestions??

definately not anything to do with cooling system..... the o2 was changed but still runs rich as all hell

My gues is you are running rich, and there are a number of causes for this. Does your check engine light come on? If it does then pull the code and go from there. For tons and tons of info/help on that kind of car you can check out www.thirdgen.org they can definately give you some help.

It sounds like the fuel pressure regulator is bad, or the injectors are stuck open. Best bet is to find out why the check engine light is on in the first place. Could even be as simple as the O2 sensor, or even the coolant temp sensor. Is hard to say though. Good luck.
