There's a small possibility. He had statistically his best season, this year for Toronto (15 wins). He's a notorious Red Sox killer, which will sit well with Steinbrenner. I think he had his chance in Pinstripes though, and will probably remain in Toronto and in the middle of the Jays starting rotation.

yes. It is expected that he will be overpaid despite a sub .500 career. He ended up having a pretty good year with the Jays in 06.

And of course, the team that usually overpays it's players, "the yankees" will most likely sign him.
