I wanted to stop my computer from remembering my searches, because this big long list pops up everytime I want to search for something new. How can I stop it from remembering?

For Internet Explorer try this
Open Internet Options from Control Panel or from the Tools menu in the Browser window and change 'Days to keep in History to 0'.
If you are specific and want to delete only few auto-search entries move your mouse over them (when the list pops up while u r searching) and press DELETE or SHIFT+DELETE

O.K ....Go to tools at top of page. Click on Internet options. Then go to content. Click on setting where it says auto complete. Uncheck web addresses. Click OK. Then go to advanced tab (at top) and under Browsing category make sure where it says "use inline auto complete" that should be unchecked. Then press OK. Then go to General (at the top)and where u see "browsing history" click on settings make sure automatically is selected, disk space used should be 50. Down where it says "history" you will see "days to keep pages in history" we have ours set a 20 days you may want less. Then press OK. Then go back to browsing history and hit the delete button this will erase all the history you have on pc and anything you type from now on will only be stored for the amount of days you set it to store it. Good Luck :)

Hello
You go and click on tools(5th option from left on top) a menu will come down and go to internet options....in internet options, there is a menu called temporary internet options, which is the 2nd one down...and go to where it says delete cookies, and click on it, then it will say delete this file..or something like that, and click yes, after that click on delete files, and click on yes again to delete. Then go to History (3rd option down) and click on clear history. You can make it only keep the history for so many days before it deletes it.

that should be it

The people above are WRONG!

Go under tools->internet options

Then under the advanced tab go through the list to browsing section. In that area there is a check box that says use inline AutoComplete. Uncheck it and hit apply!

It relies upon on your browser...yet in known you will possibly be able to appropriate click a close-by close on your seek for consequences (an arrow or an determination section) and hit sparkling. Yahoo 4 occasion has a drop down window that has a sparkling determination. If this fails each and each browser has a help button click it an ask the question to the browser itself.
