Choose a slow song, and practice singing it slowly and then practice singing it fast but sing it not say it. I learned this in a play I did. Also, practice really high notes and really low notes, those will help you a lot. Make up songs, just sing the first words that comes to your mind and sing it slow, fast, medium, high or low! Works for me.

sirens. It's when you start at the top of your rangeand almost screw, but say like BOW or something and ride that word all the way down to the bottom of your range. It'll help smooth out your break

also i just do scales. sure its boring but it gets the job done. ummm...red leather, yellow leather, pink feather, purple feather is real fun. dee dee.....bumblebe bugle blue is cool it's gets you pretty high up on a strange vowel! oh one thing my voice teacher taught me: start at a note and roll your voice up to the next octave. Try to hit all the notes in between the two and do it going down too. its really hard to do cuz you have to try to hit every single note and all the ones that arent on there and you have to be able to roll though your break smoothly(this excercise helped me a LOT with that!)

hope this helps!

Start with nursery rhymes. Low and slow. You know the words, just let them flow.

The best warm-ups are songs. Scales, etc. are too artificial and have no set meter.

Then go to any longer pieces that you know by heart. Hymns or popular songs with good regular meters. "Belt out" the last one, something like "When the Saints go marching..." so you can start low and slow and repeat quickening the pace and increasing the volume.

The all time show stopper is the "Star Spangled Banner." It can be sung to any volume, but it has a huge range.
