Go for the Roper RTW4400SQ. It is a great machine with all the features you would want and a great price too. Additionally it has one of the lowest repairs in the industry. At Lowe's you can find the machine at ~$297. In case you are brand conscious, I would recommend buying a Whirlpool or Kenmore washing machine. The Whirpool model number WTW5300SQ is a good machine. I am not sure what the comparable Kenmore washer will be. Hope this helps!

try looking in the newspaper for maybe a used Maytag. they are the best quality and last forever.

i got a whirlpool at a place where they rebuild washers, dryers, fridges, etc. it cost me 150$. check your local yellow pages! good luck!
