not all news us biased. news shuld be reporting hard facts. all the other is opinion and speculation. i have learned to notice the difference between the 2. but concerning fox news the answer is yes. they have a conservative slant. the reasons for it are as follows. rupert murdoch who owns the news corp. which owns fox news and many other conservatively slanted media, is himself a consevative and has even admitted to having his media be the same. he hired extreme conservative to head all his media organizations. also there is proof of the slant in fox news if u just watch shows. some examples. bill o'rielly, listen to what he has to say and then look at the republican party's plat form and they will match up exactly. plus he gives no time to the liberal guests on his show and he even berates them. also look at hannity vs colmes. hannity, the obvious conservative does not give any time to colmes who is the liberal and hannity also berates the liberlals. im sure i can come up with more examples but i think you get the point. jsu twatch fox news for two minutes and then look at what the republicans believe and they will match up. Thanks

There is an organization that grades each of the senators every year based on the organizations and research that they cite in their arguments on the senate floor. Based on this org's scale senators like Kennedy, Schumer, and Clinton get A+'s and Conservative senators get F's. Another organization took the same exact grading system and used it to assign a ranking to all of the major media outlets in the US. Every organization that they ranked, based on a liberal Rubric, scored as being biased in the Liberal direction, except for Fox News Channel, which was ranked as being very slightly to the right of center. If you were to compare that to other major News org's Fox has the most fairly presented Information of all of the Major News Outlets. Yes, it is very slightly biased to the right, but NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN, LA Times, NY Times, etc. are very heavily biased to the left.

All news media are biased. Not necessarily on the principle issue they are reporting, but on the best "spin" the related topic will create to boost ratings. The raw reporting that is done can be very non biased. Many reporters are very non-judgmental on the events they cover, but it is often edited before it is seen by the public. Creative editing can change the whole outcome of a story.

Although all news medias are biased, Fox is probably one of the most from cable news channels

properly specific, they're biased, i'm going to admit that. yet i myself desire you do no longer think of Fox is the only biased information station....ALL information stations are biased....maximum liberally. each little thing on CNN or NBC seems to portray Obama as some sort of saint...and it pisses me off. So I watch Fox. i'm smart sufficient to tell the adaptation between actuality and bias, so i do no longer think of it incredibly concerns interior the long-term.

One can tell from the proportion of people they invite to have commentaries on their programs, and the nature of their programs, with respect to their corporate goals.

I am not sure that their corporate goals stated impartiality.

Mind you, TV stations owners, except PBS, are profit driven and will cater to those who will pay and who will watch their program.
