You should feel your bump 'drop' a bit - it should be easier to tie your shoes!!
The baby's head could be engaged now, although it's a tiny bit early - it usually happens from about 37 weeks with a first baby.
You may have a little pelvic joint dysfunction - that would give some soreness and pain on standing and especially walking.
Good luck with the rest of the pregnancy.

Yeah i totally agree with you. iam 37 weeks pregnant and over the last week have had increasing pelvic disomfort. Then my midwife told me only 3/5's of baby's head were palpable & that baby has started to drop. Great explanation & reassurance for all the extra discomfort.

When i was pregnant with my now 12 and 7 year olds i never knew when the babys head was engaged . although with my 7 year old she was in position and started dialating and started efacing by time i was at 32 weeks i would say call the doctor and tell him how your feeling . it could just be an ache but the best thing to do probably is to let him know i know with my second daughter i was in the hospital 6 times before she was born because he swore she was going to come early . although when 40 weeks came she was induced because he was affraid i wouldnt make it to the hospital if she wasnt i also had started in labor at my visit that day when i had my appointment but wasnt increasing in dialation or efacing

My son was engaged at about 35 weeks, but my daughter did not engage until I was in full labour.
The only reason I knew my son was engaged was because the midwife told me. You should notice the bump has lowered.
Good luck.

I've heard it described as a grapefruit stuck in your crotch and you walk even FUNNIER because of it!
My baby's head engaged early on, and it was achy. I didn't know that's what it was, I just figured it was pregnancy.

It feels like you have a bowling bowl stuck in your groin area, and it makes you waddle even more than you did before!
I never experienced any pain at this point, but just discomfort, and inconvenience as mobility get trickier again!
I would check with yourmidwife at your next antenatal appt, or before if the ache turns into a pain.
Best of luck!

My bump dropped quite dramatically, it felt heavy and like a weight in my vagina, my pelvis hurt and I found it uncomfortable to sit for long.
