love is that unexplainable feeling you feel towards someone and you do all you can to protect them because if they get hurt, you will get hurt.

I can't completely define it but I know when I do fall in love.
It's sort of something like this: a combination of many different strong positive emotions like admiration and attraction that you feel towards someone. It also describes the strong connection that you have with that person meaning that you can share all aspects of your life with each other through good or bad. That's what it means to me anyway.

One can't define unconditional love. Love is God, humility, Divine light, peace, silence & more. It is a total giving expecting nothing in return. One can experience unity with God in unconditional love within the heart. a transcendental experience & when returned to normal state you will be unable to discribe the above things. Unconditional love passing through the minds concepts & emotions divides into duality, in/out, up/down, positive/negative etc. & the emotionns into conditional love/hate.

Love is when you are willing and eager to put the interests of someone else above your own. When you are in love, you are willing to sacrifice your own comfort in order to ensure the comfort of someone else. In the ideal situation, that other person feels the same way as you and the two of you are therefore able to achieve a balance in which each person is looking out for the other.

I don't think u can define it as it is a complex feeling that evolves over time and can only be understood by the person/s who is in love. This is making me depressed now meh i miss love.

There are different types of "love", e.g. "self-seeking love", and "eroticized love", etc. Therefore, I'll just assume that you are implying "True Love".

True Love in its purest form is "Selfless Sacrifice", where one "gives up" something that is utterly sacred to them and "gives it" over to someone they adore. Two lovers will "Sacrifice" (give up) their hearts over to one another. A mother will "Sacrifice" (give up) her life to spare the life of her child. The ultimate act of Love is considered to be when Christ Jesus "Selflessly Sacrificed" His Life upon the Cross of Calvary in place of all sinners in the world, having died in our place for our very own sins and sin nature.

True Love is a condition fostered by the "State of the Eternal Child", where one is dead to the self and transfixed on that which is outside the self, upon those beyond the self, and totally un-self-absorbed. Hence, when a child confronts a mirror for the very first time, initially, the child actually perceives that the reflection in the mirror is that of another being; this is the State of the Eternal Child by which True Love may flourish and abide.

yes i can define love. let me start by saying that human beings live by the decision they make. we decide to live long and be in good health by eating. we decide to have children by having sex with opposite sex. infact everything we do in life is a decision and love is not an exception. in my opinion, love is a decision we make to continue feeling good about someone irrespective of what they do or have done to us. there cannot be true love if there is no decision and this kind of decision cannot be if you dont have stipulated standard you abide by. i am a christian and i abide by biblical standards. love is not an emotion because emotion is temporary

Love is the deep feeling of want, caring or dependency invoked between 2 or more individuals, to the extent that one of the individuals could, if provoked, do any act, including marriage or murder, whilst being blinded from rationality & reason.

I was going to say you can't, but then I read the extra info.

Ummm... I think it means feeling a spiritual connection with someone, caring about them and (in mine and gf's case) being best friends, and (for me, sometimes) parent/child relationship (She's the mum), and finding everything you do with them special, even if it's as mundane as food shopping or going to the launderette.

There are definitely other unfathomable aspects to it, however IMO.

Love by it's very nature is something that is indefinable, because it's different for everybody. But, for me, love is caring unconditionally about somebody, putting their happiness first and being willing to change certain habits for them. Love isn't expressed by big guestures, but small ones.

But it could be different for others.

I think love is beyond words, beyond the studium of social ideologies, and more the punctum - a deep penetrating feeling.
