A Twinkie is just baked dough and cream. It would barely survive being microwaved, let alone a conventional explosion. A nuclear explosion would decimate a twinkie just like it would destroy any other typical object.

However, people might group a Twinkie along with cockroaches and Cher as things that would supposedly survive a nuclear blast, just because they're perceived as unnatural. (You know, since nothing in a Twinkie is an actual food item.)

yeah like everything they can go through a nuclear explosion, and just like everything else they won't come out the same afterwards, so if you are wondering if they would survive one intact the answer is no, not even close they'd be just a burnt black spot on the ground afterwards

Are you crazy? Everyone knows the rules with twinkies.

1) Never expose them to radiation
2) Don't feed them after midnight
3) Don't expose them to sunlight

It depends on how far from the blast they are. Korea exploded a nuclear bomb not long ago and i doubt it effected even one Twinkie.
If they are close enough not to be decimated they will be irradiated .
or maybe they can withstand a blast altogether in which case eat up to be safe .
