Maybe it's a book called 'Finishing Becca:a Story about Peggy Shippen and Benedict Arnold' by Ann Renaldi. Or there's another book I read when I was younger called 'Peggy'. I think it is by Lois Duncan. I went through a stage where I read as many of her books as I could. The book I remember was a hardcover book, and the cover was yellow. It had a picture of a woman from the neck down dressed in revolutionary war era clothes. If the Lois Duncan book is the one you want, good luck trying to find it, it seems to be out of print and ebay doesn't have it at the moment. I found it listed at www.bookfinder.com.
