i see little red squirrels with black stripes on its back running everywhere. have been told they are chipmunks. any help to get rid of them would be greatly appreciated.

You can always get a hungry cat. They are really just mice with "off road" abilities.

Where do you live? It's getting cold here in the midwest, so the chipmunks will soon be hibernating and you won't have to worry about them till spring.
They're pretty harmless--they eat acorns, berries, and other seeds and nuts. If they're raiding your bird feeders, there are many products to keep squirrels out, these usually work for chippies. I know they will occasionally dig up flower bulbs and mess with flower gardens, but usually not enough to cause any damage.
Frankly I think they're cute. But I can let you borrow my cat--he caught a chipmunk just a couple days ago. He was so proud of himself--biggest mouse he'd ever seen. :)

get a animal trap and leave it open and put carrots in it and when the chipmuk goes in it it closes then bring it to the park and let it go

set up live traps and then drop them off at or near your local park.

why not try to catch them and sell them to a pet shop
