1. Call your bank immediately, keep the receipt.....and talk only to the manager.
2. Report this problem to the bank immediately....either online (cause it's the weekend)...or the next business day.
3. You will get the money back...only if you complain!
4. So complain away.....and thanks for letting us know. I never thought of this happening, but now I will watch out for it.

Did you get a receipt from the ATM showing that it was "unable to fulfill this transaction?" And did you get a receipt showing your balance?
You need to show receipts.
Get your bank account statement showing all the transactions made this week or earlier.... NOW.
Get a reciept showing that it was unfulfilled.
Your balance showing the date when they pulled the money out should be the same date as the unfulfilled transaction.
Go to the bank and be aggressive but respectfull. Demand your account be credited for what they deducted.
If you dont have the unfullfilled receipt you may have problems, but there was an amount deducted. Ask the bank if others had this problem. Maybe you werent the only one... then they will know that there was a problem
Good luck

I would go start to the bank on Monday or today if they are open on Saturdays and tell them that you didn't receive any cash but it took the cash out of your account. They may look at the cam at the machine or the machine might have ran out of money at your time of transaction and they can reimburse you. Hold onto the receipt that machine gives you after your transaction to that will show them that you where there and the time you were there. Hope everything works out. Good Luck :)

Hello,
Contact your financial service provider immediately and explain what happened.
If the machine kept your card then it may have been caught by a card-capture device, then fraudsters will have retrieved the card and used it to get your money out once you'd left.
Fraud at cash machines is becoming more popular, so people should try to look for discrepancies in the machine before using it. E.G. if you've used the machine before and now the front where you put the card in is different, then it may have been fitted with a false front...
Thanks

You need to go to your financial institution and explain the situation to them. Make sure you tell the time & date of this "transaction" and the financial institution that you went to. The Banks have ways of monitoring withdrawals (thier count will be off) They can also review the video tape survailance to see if you actually took funds from the machine in question.
If it appears that you actually did not get the funds, they will get you to sign an indemnity stating that you didn't receive the funds in question, and they should give you the funds back.
Good luck

Save your receipt! Just take it inside to the teller or call the bank's 24-hour customer service number, and they will make the adjustment for you.
