a girl's thong showing cos her trousers/jeans is practically past her backside or her boobs hanging out cos her top is so low. What's with that? surely guys do not find that appealing?

First of all, the problem is not the low rise jeans or pants, because you can find low rise underwear to wear with those. So if you see any female out there with a thong showing over the top of her pants it's because she wants someone to see it. If she has her boobs hanging out, same thing. Of course some guys are going to like it. Really, it's because they think you're easy and no wonder. I agree with asker. As a woman I find it nasty. They are called underwear for a reason women. They serve a specific purpose and I don't believe it as a showpiece.

Not only does it look trashy it sends certain messages to men. What gets me is then these women get offended when they are treated the way the dress, they don't understand why a guy would smack her a** or try and pick her up just for a piece of tail. They are also sending a message to the younger generations that it is okay and acceptable to go out in public like that...scary! Predators must love it!
Now someone said its due to the pants, not so, it due to the lack of social graces, if you want to wear the pants, and feel sexy without reveling anything wear a shirt, blouse, sweater that is long enough to cover it up or tuck in, that is not so hard.
The top being to low is the same thing wear something under it and cover up.
Our pop culture icons set terrible examples,a s well as the people who design these clothes, all one has to do is watch dancing with the stars to realize this....
whew okay im done venting... can I just ask we get some better role models out there for our children! (My role models were covered up)

I think low slung jeans causes the first problem, you never really saw a girls knickers in public b4 that.
I thought guys would find this appealing - apparently not!!!!
The answer is - wear a belt - wear a bra!

Guys are only interested in girls like this because they look easy. Not girlfriend material though. Personally I think its attention seeking and desperate and totally degrading.

I agree this visible underwear stuff just seems gross to me.
I'm a guy... I like seeing underwear. But not in public!

it does depend on thr frame work of the girl if she is slim and a good shape its fine but if she is fat and just lets it all hang out now thats orrible and off putting

some guys do... some guys dont... but most girls do that because they THINK they'll get laid if they do. and because they probobly think their sexy/hot/ the best thing in the world since sliced bread.
