Typing and using a mouse is more physical activity then using a remote control, so I would say it is better for you than TV. There is an even worse ratio of mindless garbage to good information than there is on TV, so it is a little worse on that level. Still, there are over one hundred million URLs out there, so even having a small percentage of quality stuff is fine when you have a hundred million channels, so it ends up being a draw in that regard. Still, loads of porn and free speech makes the internet bad much worse than the TV bad ever could be, so I give the social to TV- out of physical, social, and mental effects and influences, it is a draw between TV and the Internet.

Internet is not a bad thing and can be very safe if you know what you are doing, I've been on internet for the past 10 years

No, Internet is not at all a bad options these days.
Make sure you do not mis use it. It keeps you active and can get a lot of information about every aspects of the Nature and its extreme beauties.
Every information is available on the Net and can get the news from any part of the world on a mouse click!!
