I THINK IT MATTERS BECAUSE A NATIONAL TEAM SHOULD BE THE REAL EXPRESSION OF THE COUNTRY.
DON'T MISUNDERSTAND MY WORDS, I MEAN THAT RULE HAS NOT SENSE.

You know, I never thought of it, but it would make sense for an international competition like the world cup to use coaches of the same nationality. That would be totally fair. Trainers too!

I dont know I think if ur national team is not that good u can get help by an expert. Hiddink did a great work with Korea then Aus. so is Scolari with Portugal .I prefer if the coach had the same nationality but I dont see any harm if the country wants to make their team looks better with other coach.

As long as the coach brings in the desired results, why should nationality come into it?
I can see what you mean. A local coach might share the same passion in that he wants glory for his own country, but football is an international game now. Resuts matter more than local pride.
That is the fact, sadly.

It should not matter. A good coach is a good coach. There should, however, be no language barrier. A coach for an Italian team had better be able to speak Italian. :-)

Cool down why are you so angry??
If you get a different couch for a different country..he will bring different talents and facts to the player so that gives a positive result because the players get more Advantages
A big example...Scolari...Brazil

yes it does matter. mexico's ex-coach ricardo lavolpe is argentinian. i think when mexico played argentina in the world cup. i think deep down he was going for argentina.
only a coach that is coaching his country will really feel the passion.

I really don't know. I think when it comes with coaches, the team asks for them. Not sure.

Hmmmmm, apparently you are the only one who care.
Bella Karoli coached many gold medal winners on the Us womens gymnastic team and he was Russian. (or Ukranian, eastern european anyway.)

it doesnt really matter if the coach is the same nationality, but if they are, they have more passion for them to win. like, they would REALLY want them to win not just cause its their job but because its their country.
