Lol. It's funny that you ask this because I've just found out about Sadam's execution, too. I was watching the news on TV a moment before I read your question.

The thing is that no matter how terrible this man is, I don't approve of such means of punishment. And who can tell if death really is a punishment? It's just too harsh.

No! I would never celebrate the death of a fellow human being...no matter how evil that person is or how much I think he/she deserves it. The need for capital punishment it our society speaks volumes about the sad state our world is in. Even though an execution may be necessary, and may give some closure and a sense of justice to the victims' families...it is NEVER SOMETHING TO BE CELEBRATED!

I wont be having a party but I am glad to hear the SOB is going to be hung. Even though hanging is letting him off to easy. I think he should be tortured. I just hope this doesn't bring on more problems. And for who ever I may have offended sorry but that is my opinion. Anyone who can hurt let alone kill that many people and still sleep at night doesn't deserve to live.

It is no time for celebration, when a human is put to death, but it is a relief to know that this one will no longer wreak havoc with a "civilized" world. No party, even if I were in Baghdad.

I'm glad that Saddam can no longer hurt other people, but I do think it is wrong to celebrate someone's death.
