Sounds like sciatic nerve pain aka sciatica. You have a nerve that runs from you spine in your lower back thru your but muscles, out your pelvic bones and down your legs to your toes. It can hurt anywhere along this path. It is really, really common during pregnancy because the baby can put pressure on this nerve. You can lay on your back and bring your knee up to your chest to try to stretch it out. You can also massage your butt muscles in that area to loosen them up and take some pressure off the nerve.

It sounds like sciatic nerve pain. The best way to ease it is to lay on the opposite side that is hurting and use a heating pad for no more than 15 minutes at a time. A warm(NOT HOT!!) bath always helps mine as well.

That is a strange symptom, but not unlike the back labor pains I had with all of my kids. It could possibly be brandon hix (?) contractions many woman get from 7 mos or later, usually painless, though one of my pregnancies it wasn't.
But I agree. Call your doctor or an OB/GYN nurse at hospital, and ask specific questions. Hope all is well.
Congratulations too.

It is your sciatic nerve. The baby is laying on it, or putting pressure on it causing it to pinch. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do about it. It will get better after the baby is born, or before if the baby changes posittions. Nothing harmful. Just a nuisance.

That's your sciatic nerve. It's a pretty common symptom, especially late in the pregnancy. If you're lucky, it will go away after birth.

It could be that the baby is lying awkwardly putting pressure on a nerve ending but you should check with your doctor don't risk that it could be something more serious you never know.
