The first paragraph should tell the reader that the paper will discuss the cause(s) of aids, and give an overview of the organization of the ideas and facts presented. It's a paper, not a list, so you're going to have to organize and group the causes in some logical fashion to discuss them coherently.
Like
This paper will categorize the causes of aids. There are three basic categories of the causes, animal, mineral, and vegetable.
(please don't try to use those groups, just an example).

First paragraph introduces the paper, and is supposed to draw your reader in. What to include depends a lot on what you're planning on saying about aids. Is this a persuasive paper? Informative? Only you can know what will best work at the beginning of your paper at this point - unless you provide additional details here that help us understand what you're trying to convey.

your first paragraph should begin with the beginning of aids
before the disease was termed aids, it had another acronym...
G.R.I.D....
but if you go there, you will garner a lot of hate against you and against the factual background of aids
you will be labeled as the hate filled, prejudiced bigot
thats just human nature, when one is afraid of the light of exposure, just accuse the oppossition of the thing of which you are guilty, and the attention is diverted from one onto the other
the problem is that GRID is politically incorrect
so the acronym was changed
GRID...Gay Related Immuno Deficiency
but hey, dont just take my word on it...do your research for yourself, acquire the facts to your own satisfaction before you scribe your name to any document

Make a list of all the causes. Then take each cause and compose a sentence.
Opening sentence should be interesting. Asking a question works. Then use your info to answer your own question.

really think about it, What causes aids? let's see discuss about unprotected sex and what it can lead to if you don't be careful. give as much details as you can about sharing needles or you can try to speak to someone about aids and how it affect them amd their way of living.
