How long after sex can you tell if your pregnant or not?

Im a little bit worried please help me so I can get the time right to do a test.

i have been in the same position
the best thing to do is if you know what day your period comes on
for example say it came on the 7 November, and the period did not come you can take one on the 1st day of your missed period, if your not sure when your period is due, think back to when your last period was then go on 4 or 3 weeks, but if your still nto sure, get a pregnancy test see what it says, also you can go to your doctor which i know is hard but try and take a friend with you or your local sexual health clinic, if you need to talk more or need advice etc please feel free to email me xxx

you can take a test the first day of your missed period. some tests will now tell you 3 days before your period is due. you will notice symptoms about a week or so after you conceive, this has been my experience, but all women are different. Good Luck.

err well u can only really tell if ur pregnant after u have had sex if u have had a miss period, and there is no rite time to do a test, they say 4 days b4 ur miss period but its up to ur body to tell u really coz ur pregnancy hormone has to be strong enough to detect, TRUST ME I NO!!!!!! iv did bout 4 test b4 it come up in 3 months

you can do a test.. but it may be better to wait until your period is due that way you can see if you are late or not?? for me i knew about a week later that i was pregnant the morning sickness kicked in straight away i never had to wait until my period was due i just knew its a weired feeling i cant discribe but its kind of nice.. i did take a test just to make sure..

I would take a test a few days after having a missed period. It's a waste of money doing it before your missed period. Best Wishes.

you can take a pregnancy test upto 4 days before your period is due, dont do one before then cos its less accurate and you'd be wasting your money cos you could be pregnant but it could say negative cos pregnancy hormone is low at the beginning ok.
