Sure sounds that way. It's one of those "I hope not, but I definitely know it is" kind of things. Fox isn't dumb enough to let go of its #2 cash cow, and you all know what the #1 answer is.

They have a contract for a minimum of 6 more seasons. Expect Idol to be around for a very long time

Yes they are. The show will begin airing the "out-takes of the funniest people who auditioned" in January 2007.

Yes, they have already had auditions and Fox has to keep it's #1 show....... Besides House, there's no other reason for FOX to stay on the air.
