It is for my laptop. I have no clue what is the best one out there on the market. I'm looking for something that is under £25. What are the things that i should be looking for when choosing a wireless optical mouse?

http://www.logitech.com/ makes good optical mouses. But the problem with optical mouses is that they require batteries.

You can easily find a good one for less than £25, if you type wireless mouse into a search engine it will bring up lots of site's & you can check the various prices for the many model's available. From experience I would suggest you get one with that has a switch to turn it off when not in use as this save's using up the batteries so quickly.

I just purchased the Microsoft wireless laptop mouse w/Intellipoint software. it is excellent and priced around $25.00 US. It does not require a line of sight relationship to the receiver which has a standard USB connection.

Having said that, I do like Logitech mice - my Dell one (optical but corded) is a rebadged Logitech Pilot.
