Several Indian cricketers playing now are not in best form.Like this Ganguly is not in form. If he is given the oppotunities twice or thrice, I think he will play a good game of cricket in the coming world cup.Think about his huge sixes in the matches he played.

No player is given a place in the team based on his past glory. Players are selected in the team based on their performance just prior to selection. A player once selected if given sufficient time to prove his worth if he considers to be a good talent. In case of Ganguly, though he was not performing well during the couple of matches prior to his removal from Indian Team, he was retained as Captain. However, replacing him from captaincy was due to his own mistake and ego clash. Unfortunately he has not bee playing well after than. Hence he is not included in the team.
Selectors have made it clear that door is not yet shut for him. Few performance of notewothy in the domestic tournaments will surely fetch him place in the team. If a player is not able to perform well in domestic matches, how can you take him in the team presuming that he will perform better if few opportunities are given to him.

You are right. Ganguly can be given chance to regain his form. He is a good player and he will come back to form if he is given opportunity.
No players are playing well now a days. And one of the reason is chapell. I accept. But I think ganguly must be given opportunity which will make the indian team good

Yes If ganguly regains the form .No need to think about the form of sehwag and others.he can directly enter in to the indian cricket with his best.

has ganguly performed in domestic cricket: the answer is clearly no than how can u bring him in as there are other young players waiting and they r in good nick ; ganguly has been a good player over the yrs but nowdays he does not fits into the team composition.

your thinking is correct, yes we can give chance to ganguly,but how are you saying sehwag is not playing well.you are saying that we should give chance to ganguly even he fails to play well in his recent last matches,sehwag is also in the same situation as ganguly was. so why don't we take a sudden change in the team as ganguly was thrown out. we should give chances to both in this situation of team.Anyway with the coach it is difficult to do
