It seems to bring out all the idiots by us, "Oooh look at the pretty lights!". Where do people get the money from, to literatly watch it go up in smoke?! This has been going on since September and will not stop until the new year. People should be made to have licences and only organised bonfires should be allowed around the time of Bonfire night. Does anybody else agree? Please say i'm not the only one who hates it so much!

All I can say is I am sick to the back teeth of them, its now 11.25 pm, they are still going off like bombs round here, we've had this noise since 4 pm today continually, its been exactly the same for the last 3 nights, though fireworks have been going off round here since the end of September, I am tired out but can't go to bed yet because my dog is terrified of fireworks and is sat under the desk and won't come out until they stop, I can't leave her downstairs on her own fretting, I was so cross this morning when I walked into the local Asda, they were selling fireworks at half price thus giving the idiots who think its great to set them off even more ammunition to play with all night long, people should be made to have licences and the police should be cracking down on these shops that continually get away with selling fireworks to kids, its not big and its not clever and I wish they would ban them.

I to am sick to death of fireworks,They start as you say in about september and go on until after new year, I think only proper organised displays should be allowed and once bonfire night is over the shops should be cleared of all fireworks.

I too am sick of the bang bang bang, I thought bangs were supposed to be banned some around here have been so loud they have shaken the windows, and of course as you say its not just one night a year now either I believe they should be licecnced and fireworks should only be able to sold to the licence holder and there should be a maximum noise level with them too.

I don't mind bonfires but the fireworks are so annoying. Ok, they are pretty to look at, but the noise when they go off until about 2am is tiring.

With you, we live near a bloke who makes them professionally, and all year he lets thousands of fireworks off, sick of the sound of them.
