No, some people place themselves outside the family of mankind. By refusing to be governed by reason they become preditory beast. There is but one way to deal with these mad dogs, terminate them.

We would have been justified to have executed him ourselves. I think it was ridiculous to let the Iraqis try him themselves. We did it to some of the Japanese and German leaders after WWII. I see nothing wrong with this.

What I do see as wrong is trying to equate execution of criminals with bashing in the heads of small children, shooting fleeing elementary students, pushing crippled old men in wheel chairs off the decks of cruise ships, crashing planes into office buildings, blowing up teenagers at a pizza parlor, or indiscriminately lobbing rockets into cities. That is wrong and immoral.

i wonder why if some one disagree with what the bush administration think that a person have to explain to every one that he or she is not a liberal. it's OK peoples to have your own opinion about what is going on around this country with out being label a liberal . i just was wondering why you put that into your post. no even if i don't think Saddam will ever hang for his crimes . it was the right sentence . but he will die the right old age behind bars

We are not hanging Saddam, the Iraqis are doing that. We have the death sentence for murderers here in the USA too.

"We" aren't hanging Saddam. He was tried and convicted in Iraq by Iraqis under Iraqi law.

Yeah well, I though we should have done one of two things if we executed him (which we are).

1. Lethal injection, we are supposedly civilizing Iraq after all
or
2. Acid Bath, he used it all the time, ironic punishment to a degree
