Well, I'm no expert ... but I'd define an underachiever as someone who a) isn't living up to their potential and b) doesn't care that they aren't living up to their potential.

I guess what I mean is ... if you're doing your best ... if you're genuinely trying ... then you aren't an underachiever.

Being underachiever in life to me is not having any drive for any challenges faced in life and no will to live on in life

To me the "under achiever" would be someone who let themselves down. There is no one way, to measure achievement for every individual. However, "beings" such as we , often feel inadequate no matter what we gain.
