its been 35 days since my last period, usually its around 30-32 or so and i dont know y i havent gotten it yet. About two weeks ago there was like alittle brown stuff for a few days. I am sexually active but don't have unprotected sex, why could it not have come yet?

also the last couple of days i have been realli emotion, which makes me think my period is coming but i dont know. Is that usually what that means?

Pregnancy isnt the only thing that makes periods late. Other things that can make your period late, or even missed are:
-Starting or stopping a new medicine
-Birth control
-Poor diet
-Sudden weight gain or loss
-Emotion stress
-Illness, infections
However, the soptting that you had a few days ago could be a few things. It could be pre-menstrual spotting. This is when some women spot a few days before they actually start their periods. Or it could be implantation bleeding. This usually happens around the time you are supposed to start your period. Its caused by the fertilzed egg implanting in the lining of your uterus, which would mean you are pregnant.
Take a day of rest and relaxation and see what happens. If you havent started your period by the next day, take a pregnancy test. A urine pregnancy test can detect a pregnancy 12-16 days after conception. If you are anxious to know now, a blood test can revel a pregnancy at about 6-8 days after conception.
It is also very normal to have the mood swings before your period you start. If you were pregnant right now, you would be about 2-3 weeks, which is still very early.
The tought thing about being a women is that early pregnancy symptoms and early menstrual symptoms are almost identical! But, if you are pregnant, you will find outin time.

Stress can cause your hormones to act crazy. See a gynecologist if you period still doesn't come within the next week. There is a slim chance that you might be pregnant with spotting. The only way to prevent pregnancy is not to have sex.

You could have ovulated late, making your cycle longer than normal. As you already know, no method is 100% effective. So wait a few more days and test.
