People should go back and look at the tapes of the gassed Kurdish children... dead in the streets.. before their lives even had a chance to begin. The enemies of Saddam being thrown off the Baghdad roofs. The guy was a mass murderer, folks.
A more fitting punishment would be life in prison? Warm and snug? Looking forward to his lamb and rice Tuesdays and his bowl of Fruit Loops every morning? Writing his memoirs?
I say string him up. And invite Kim Jong Il, Bashir Assad, and Ahmadinejad to have a front row seat.

Well considering his crimes weren't against me, I'm hesitant to put out an opinion.
But yes, I think he deserves to die for his crimes.
However, I think the court was set up in a way where it is going to be easy to claim corruptivity. Also, coincidence that he is sentenced right before mid-term elections?

I do not agree with the dead penalty ,therefor I can not agree with the verdict in Saddam's case...He should have been convicted to life prison...
Saddam was guilty ,no doubt about this,bu I think he should have been trailed by an international court,not an Iraqi one...most probably a marionette of US...

Instead of death they should give him solitary confinement, give him nothing except fo a bed no outside time no nothing he deserves to rot in a cell for what he did
