You should have a fresh air vent (pipe) that extends through the roof of your house. You can probably gauge which pipe is for the bathroom by location above that general part of the house.
Check to see if a bird has nested, or if other obstructions are present. It is this back flow that is supposed to prevent drawing air from other lines. Only an obstruction somewhere would cause this draw of air elsewhere. Good luck

Mine does this now and again. It's because both your sink and toilet plumbing lines drain into the same main line running out of your home. And too, your sink drain may need a little cleaning from hair and other things that are washed down and get trapped.

Good Luck!!

Stretch has the right idea - you have an obstructed vent. You can try to clear the vent with a garden hose or you can call a professional (don't follow the drain cleaner advice). If you don't have a vent, you can install a vent-less vent under your sink for just a few $$$. If you decide to do this, install it AFTER the p trap.

Sounds like you toilet wants to back up into your sink. You need to put some drain opener down the toilet and the sink. Use as directed. Good Luck. Best to do this before the ground freezes.

Sounds like there may be an obstruction in the vent causing a vacuum when you flush and it sucks air down your sink drain.

Well, Usually I don't give silly answers,
But I can't help myself this time.
I would be gulping too if that stuff was
going down the drain pipe that I shared.
