I'm trying to remember the title and author of a novel where a man wakes from a coma, and believes that he has been implanted with false memories, and that it's all part of a plot against him.

This sounds an awful lot like the Arnie film "Total Recall" which was based on the short story "We Can Remember It For You Wholesale" by Philip K Dick.

this also sounds like the film Paycheck (2003) which was based on a story by Philip K. Dick, and starred Ben Affleck, but i'm not completely sure. good luck finding what you're looking for!
