toshiba's generally are attached on the top of the keyboard. on the right hand side above the keyboard is normally a small indentation there you can get a fine screwdriver in to lever up the top plate, the screws are under there.
the connector is either going to have a plug on the end or the ribon cable will just end with bare contacts, plugs are easy, others aint so straightforward.
if you have 1 of these other ones, look on the connector and you will see a beige strip that is slightly too long for the socket running perpendicular to the cable, this moves away from the socket releasing the cable and the cable will slide out. BE GENTLE HERE, ITS WAY TOO EASY TO BREAK IT!!!!!
to fit a new cable ito the slot, simply slide it in (with the holding section open) and make sure its fully seated. once thats done, push the holder (the beige bit) back towards the socket without letting the ribbon cable slip out.
following this, try nailing fog to a ceiling, its a little less fiddly

Don't have one of these, so cannot be specific. However, it's usually fairly easy. If you have the new keyboard, examine it, does it have any screw holes? If so look for screws in same place on bottom of case. What about lips that would be under another part? Most often, you need to gently lever off the plastic plate above the keyboard. Just be gentle and don't force anything too hard.

Strongly suggest that you do not try it yourself and get hold of a qualified technician, if possible, a toshiba qualified technician to do the same
