Some of you are absolutely correct, I am an Alcoholic, and I don't care who knows it as long as I don't forget it. My last drink was over 7 years ago. Read it again. -tequila 7+. Peace.

Lola, thanks, but it is because of my age. I am, surprisingly enough in good health, my Doctor told me so, oh and he is a recovering Alcoholic as well. Thanks again. Peace.

Congrats on stopping the alcohol. Now for your brain problems... You may have too many things going on in your head at the same time and aren't really concentrating. We used to call it being a scatter brain. You could also have alcoholic encephalopathy -- a brain disorder caused from alcohol abuse. You could just be getting old and you may be developing Alzheimer's or some other form of dementia. I would start with the scatter brain syndrome. Your long term memory is intact but your short term memory is having problems.

I do the same thing and I don't drink (never have), but I do have a lot of stress and the more stressed I am the more I forget things. But then I'm getting up in years (53 now) and this is when dementia starts to show up... I prefer to think of myself as a scatter brain...

Trix are for kids has been drilled into our heads FoReVeR, its a "jingle"- its meant to stick in our heads.
When you forget what or why you are doing something- go back to where you had the original thought. It will immediatly come to you.
I also believe the older you get, the less room you have in your memory for trivial b*llsh*t. Why wouls you WANT to remember what you had for dinner yesterday? But you SHOULD remember the deadline your boss gave you!

First it is "Trix ARE for kids"

The point of slogans for things are that they are memorable so that the product is bought. Plus it is constantly run on TV so that there is repetitive exposure to it.
