a parrot. I ahve a cockatiel and they are awesome. They are good pets and they can still go places with you or you can leave them at home without the worry of everything being torn up plus, they will talk to you if you teach them.

All three are extremely different. They are all huge commitments, too. A dog is playful, needs to be trained, and completely changes your lifestyle- NOT a good pet on a whim. What dog you want should be thouroughly researched and thought over for a month.
Parrots live until around 100 years, so if your getting a parrot, keep in mind, it will be part of your will. They can be noisey and hard to take care of, depending on personality.
Snakes need to be fed once every two weeks, need a hot light, but can creap people out.
Its up to you, snakes are the easiest.

I've never had a snake as a pet so I can't say anything about them. I have had three dogs that have lived full lives. My parrot has outlived all three of them. If you get a parrot be aware some can live 50 years. (So I've heard) They also require lots of attention, much like a two or three year old child. They are also "moody" and can get kind of nasty. A parrot can be expensive to purchase. I have seen them in pet stores for as high as $5000.00 Enjoy whatever pet you chose

If your choosing a pet for your self its best to find one that fits your lifestyle. If you have a lot of time to spend with it and want companionship that will carry outside your home then I would say A dog is a good choice. If you want companionship and noises don't bother you then a bird is a good choice. For low maintenance then a snake is a good choice but what ever you choose be sure to read as much as you can before you get it. Many people think only of the good reasons to have a pet and forget about the time and commitment you have to put into it. For example I love birds but boy can they be noisey, and when I moved in with my mother it was a problem for her. There are also places you can not rent if you have certain pets. May your choice make you both happy!

With any pet, you need to consider the important issues; expense, time to spend with the pet and space.
If you have little space and aren't looking for something to cudle up with, a snake may be good. If you want a buddy, a dog. They can be wonderful companions and require room to run and time for exercise with you. If you want to have a pet that requires more thought, a parrot. Parrots can be mean and live a long time.
For me, I will take cats any day. I love their independence, yet they also can be very loving and good companions. They are also very intelligent and emotional animals, don't require walks and are usually perfectly happy by themselves for hours.

How much time are you willing to dedicate to caring for this animal? The dog in my eyes is the best but the most care. The parrot can be messy but hardly any care at all. The snake..well its not my thing but easier to care for as well but doesnt do much but sit there. A cat can be affectionate but self dominating and takes some care too. Good luck in your decision. If you have a busy schedule and dont have much time I wouldnt decide on the cat or dog.

I relatively have 2 parrots, they're VERY friendly, they could the two communicate, they placed across with me and my relatives like they're human beings to, they're particularly outstanding, common to coach, suitable pets for infants, yet regardless of in case you have faith it, dont placed your finger close to its mouth, i've got been given bit those days, its no longer something enormous, basically somewhat sting, no blood, they dont have very mushy ears, they regularly dont attempt and fly out except you have something exterior of the cage that they choose, they wont bite except they seem to be a stranger, so ensure the puppy is used to them, they dont regularly choose vet checkups, rabies, NO thought, sorry, its to no longer costly to look after them, they cant open the doorways except they're incredibly experienced, they wont get jealous, yet once you have the time, communicate on your parrot and cope with him like ROYALY! have faith me, you will get exhilaration from each and every minute of the adventure =]

Dogs, for sure..
I myself, have a black Labrador & i love him to death.
They can protect you from danger, you can train them easily [depending on the breed], they make great pets for both young & old, etc..
