You could download programs such as:

Limewire

Ares (Aries?)

Kazaa

Gnutella

Morpheus

Filetopia

Bit Torrent

Or, if you don't want to download a program to your computer, you can try this really neat trick that you can do on Google. Go to Google (www.google.com), like you where going to search something. Type in the following code into the search box: (index of: Gorillaz MP3). You just copy and paste that into the search box, and it will bring up a bunch of Index's from websites, and you can download the songs straight from the Internet without downloading a program (Limewire, etc.). You can change the "Gorillaz" to a different band name, such as Queen or Fallout Boy, and/or you can change the MP3 part to something like MPG or something if you want a video! I hope this helps!

There are precisely 0 tactics or cyber web sites to legally thieve music. you're conscious that some women and men persons are being fined $275,000 according to track, appropriate? there became as quickly as recently a judgment in Minnesota that rather everyone had to pay over a million greenbacks for under 6 songs! wager what? Over one thousand greenbacks is offender larceny. would be unable to ever vote, would be unable to purchase a gun, it is going to likely be complicated to get into college, in case you have obtained financial help that's revoked--far greater disaster than paying $.ninety 9 at Amazon. in basic terms FYI, i will't have self belief of a worse, greater desirable traceable technique to thieve than to do it over the internet.

Limwire is good. It is legal, as long as you don't burn the songs to a CD. The thing is that you should have anti-virus programs installed on your computer, because ther's always a chance that you can get a virus from it, even though I have downloaded some songs from it and I have never gotten a virus. You have a chance of getting a virus with I-Tunes and Napster also, so you just have to take a chance.

downloading music without the rights to do so is piracy. shame on you, doing so will make you a criminal, piracy will lead to other more serious crimes.
stealing music takes food away from the children of the artist that depend upon their talent to feed themselves and their families. So when you steal from them, by downloading "free" music and files, remember, you are then a criminal!!!!!

If you don't own a copy of it, it is illegal period!!!! you must have the permision (rights) to download it or it is illegal. Regardless of what some people say.

Online piracy is the unauthorized uploading of a copyrighted sound recording and making it available to the public, or downloading a sound recording from an Internet site, even if the recording isn't resold. Online piracy may now also include certain uses of "streaming" technologies from the Internet.

My favorite one is to make Audio search in www.altavista.com , just write the name of what you seek , and you will find 100s of results, all free of course.

Get one of your current Cd's. Put it the the drive, and rip it to your hard drive.
Downloading is illegal and malicious for your computer.
