The lead singer of INXS right?
I'm not Australian but I like his voice. It was unfortunate the way he died.
J.D. Fortune is a great replacement, he sounds like Mike plus he's Canadian eh!

I loose all respect for people once they commit suicide. I thought Michael Hutchence was a great singer, he had a voice that was unrivalled in the type of music he sang. It's impossible not to listen to any song he sang and not be moved by it, because when hutch sang a song he was in touch with it. It was somewhat eery (i cant spell, lol). Songs like By my side and Never tear us apart. He seemed to be a good man, a great father to his daughter even if his wife was a bit of a *****. I mean, obviously he was drugged up but he cared for them.

It was a shame that he killed himself and for that i cannot respect him. But as a musician i hope he is remembered for a long time.

Well I didn't know him and I don't really know anything about him or his death, but I am a big fan of old INXS and I think he had a fantastic voice - very sexy. I think it's a shame they decided to get a new singer and release crappy pop music - it's tarnished their awesome image a little in my mind.
