world war 3 has already been going on since SEPT 11, 2001...world war 3 is the war on terrorism...I don't know if you read the article on the MSN homepage, but according to the article he does not want the people of IRAQ to take a stance against the US...I think it is a crock and maybe code for his supporters to get even more violent against the US led coalition...Saddam should have been killed 15 years ago in the original Desert Storm...cheers

If you mean a war between any of the major powers in the world, then the answer is no.
If you mean increased levels of terrorism against the West, it's possible.

No, it may however cause some unrest within Iraq. It will allow the Iraqi's to move on with rebuilding their country and their former tyrant leader will now meet his fate through the Iraqi justice system.

By world war 3 I assume you mean a nuclear exchange of some sort...I doubt it.
If that was going to happen it would have already when he was captured..The world already knew what the outcome of this trial was going to be.

In all probability he will not be executed for at least a year or maybe not at all as his sentence will go to the appeal courts. So let's not start thinking about a WW III. Now or ever!

No, not at all. It may and probably will cause some of his hard line supporter to murder innocent Iraqis, but nothing further will become of it. Once he is dead, people in Iraq will forget about him and they will go on with their civil violence and kill and injure each other.

Yes, but who cares? There is way too many folks in the world and I for one look forward to the struggle to survive inthe nuclear wasteland that will follow it. My shelter is ready and fully stocked for me and over 20 others to live nicely for the next 5 years, even if we have to stay underground.
