It sounds like this is an assignment, so I won't write a "detailed long answer", but I will give you something to start with that is obvious and you should already know this;

Fast food is high in fat and has no real nutritional value. Soft drinks (sodas) are high is sugar and chemicals and have been shown to contribute to digestive problems and fat retention.

There you go, now do some research on the above and get all the study facts to back it up.

Yes, because we need to teach our children to make healthy choices. This should be part of their education too. We all know if a 10 year old is faced with a choice between a turkey sandwich and pizza, he's going for the pizza. I think we should do everything we can to change children's eating habits and show them the way to eat healthfully. Also, they can always have the junk when they get home. It's not like a ban of junk food in the cafeteria is going to deprive them of anything.

These are real junk food and useless drinks. They do not benefit you in any way. Nevertheless I am opposed to banning these. It is because if you can not eat junk food now when will you eat? Secondly the desire to do right thing must come from with in. No country has succeeded in banning alcoholic drinks or cigarettes. Force will not work. Those affected will be more defiant and rebellious and would go all out to do banned acts. wisdom lies in education and friendly persuasion.

Yes because most American children are getting obese and unhealthier faster than American adults. This generation has a less life expectancy rate than the prior generations. Because of this, we need to help fight this anyway we can.
