I suppose that was my worst fear until one day a few years ago I saw a picture in a magazine of a woman who had taken up weight-lifting and body sculpting in her sixties. She w as now 84 and had a buff figure any 20-year old could have envied.... She said she was in the best shape of her life, went to the gym two or three times a week, and was much admired by those much younger than her. Sure, she had wrinkles on her face, but you didn't e ven notice when you looked at the trim, muscular healthy body. What she did have in her eyes, and whole face, was a radience that shouted "fit, healthy, confident" at you as you looked at it.. From that day on, I knew that the wrinkles didn't matter any more. I w anted the rest of what she had, and I've worked at it ever since. I may not look quite that good when I get to the age she was at the time of that picture, but I bet I'll be running close LOL.

Are you asking if wrinkles and other signs of aging are a women's worst fear?

My dear, there are zillions of worse threats than looking your age! Two that come to mind are taking your kids out on the roads as learner drivers (now you know where the wrinkles come from) and world war 3. By the time middle age starts (I am 47), God allows your eye-sight to fail in direct proportion to the development of the wrinkles! Public speaking, changing a tyre and shop change-rooms are WAY greater fears than wrinkles.

Women with that fear should avoid the sun. Overexposure to the sun, plus genetics and poor diet will exacerbate (promote) wrinkles.

You are young.. trust me.. the older you get, the less you worry about what people think.. hahahaha.. Ok.. ms clairol and myself will become very good friends when I start to turn gray.. but.. but.. aging is not my greatest fear.. men have made women worry about that, while they seem to think they don't age at all.. hahaha.. don't worry.. it is all a part of life..
