How about getting ripped to pieces by four horses?
Is that violent enough for you?
Saddam should not be killed from a political point of view, In the Sunday Times (England) yesterday there was a heavy weight political analyst that thinks that the martyr's that his death will spawn will reign terror and blood on us all potentially...this is an important point of view to consider I reckon...

This is one issue I'm definately torn on. I think the death penalty is too easy for the one receiving it. They should have to face up what they did for the rest of their sorry lives.
As for Saddam, I'm certainly not in any way sad he's getting hanged. Hangings seems so primative, but oh well.
As you can see, I'm sitting on the fence on this one. I hate fence-sitting but I need more time to discuss it before I can firmly say yes or no. This is a good question, it got my brain crank'n.

I don't believe in the detah penalty period. I think it somewhat contradictory that you would kill someone to punish him for... killing someone. The way you do it is in my opinion irrelevant, although some methods just seem more barbarian.

They don't hang you any mor because the rule is if you don't die they have to do it again and if it fails twice they have to pardon you.
